On Thursday, October 11, 2018 we had the pleasure of officially welcoming Michael Holden and his team of Gage, Edder and Chris to the Royse City Chamber! These guys have only been on Main Street under a year but have already made a huge and lasting impact on Royse City! With their precise and impeccable work along with their giving hearts we are lucky to have them here! Make sure to stop by to get a cut or shave and feel as though you have walked back in time to the classic style of a true barbershop where everyone is family!
Nanette has been in banking for over 30 years. She started her career with American National Bank of Texas 20 years ago as a manager in an in-store location in Mesquite. She eventually became the Banking Center Manager for the Seagoville and Crandall locations. In 2012, she transferred to Royse City to be closer to home, which is in Trenton.
She has held numerous positions with Seagoville and Crandall’s Chambers and Lions Clubs. In Royse City, she has served on the Education Foundation Board, the Parks and Recreation Board, and the Woof-Stock Foundation Board. This will be her second term to be on the Royse City Chamber board and is looking forward to once again being active in the community.
Nanette grew up in the Dallas area. She has a daughter, son, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family and being involved with the children.
I grew up in Rockwall and graduated from Rockwall high school in 2007. I moved to Royse City and bought my first home in 2010. I am mom to two boys Jack 10, and Hunter 5 that attend school here in Royse City. I worked in retail management for 10 years before obtaining my Real Estate license and joining the Real Estate industry. I have worked for Historymaker homes for a little over a year and am so blessed to be a part of this Christian based company. I enjoy music, singing, dancing, and spending time with my family and friends.
We are happy to have Ms. Dawn Griffin McKee from GenCore Payment Services as our Royse City Chamber September Ambassador Spotlight!! She is a true gem and if you haven’t met her, you really need to do so! Here is a little about herself:
Dawn was raised in Garland and graduated from South Garland High School in 1991. She spent 28 years in the dental field, but her path led her to GenCore Payment Services in early 2017, where she now serves as the Vice President of Sales.
She is an Ambassador for both Royse City and Rockwall Chambers of Commerce and sits on the executive board for the Rockwall Professional Women’s Alliance. Dawn serves on several planning committees throughout the area, and loves being involved in the community.
She and her husband, William, moved to Royse City in 2007 and celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary in February, 2018. She is a proud mother to two boys; Grant, a Junior at Stephen F. Austin State University, and Grayson, a 5th grader at Ruth Cherry Intermediate School in Royse City.
Tiffany Olson with Luna Burke & Asso. is our September Board of Director’s Spotlight! We are grateful for Tiffany’s enthusiasm to always lend a helping hand to her community!
Tiffany graduated from Texas A&M, College Station and has over 25 years of events and marketing experience in the non-profit sector to include working for Rockwall County Helping Hands, Big Brothers Big Sisters and the McKinney Chamber of Commerce. She currently is feeding her passion for serving others by assisting Luna Burke & Associates with their endeavors such as the Paw Packs Program.
The August “Board Member Spotlight” is on Cristal Cienfuegos, Shenaniganz:
Cristal Cienfuegos is a native of Indianapolis, Indiana but moved to McKinney, Texas in 1991 where she attended and graduated from McKinney High School in 1996. She moved to Dallas and attended community college while pursuing her continuing education and profession as a paralegal from 1999-2014.
After moving to Royse City, Cristal remains active with her 3 children Esmeralda, Cristian and Sebastian (who all attend Royse City ISD) and has volunteered her time by coaching sports, participating in school functions and serving as Treasurer for the Royse City Soccer Association.
After a few personal life changes, Cristal decided to choose family over career by changing professions and accepting a position as an event planner with Shenaniganz in Rockwall. She is excited to be a part of the board and is looking forward to assisting with the growth of the community! Cristal says: “I am so thankful to be a part of this fantastic board and community!”
We are proud to have Cristal on the Chamber Board.
