Originally from Naperville, IL, Julie started her career as a graphic designer after college as an illustrator for Osco Drug Store chain. After that she assisted several art directors at an advertising agency in downtown Chicago for four years where she gained her computer knowledge, and working with all the art directors gave her the insight she needed to finally venture into design herself. She then moved into the travel industry and worked her way up to senior design and production specialist where her job took her on African safaris, Egypt and sailing the Mediterranean. Relocating to Texas after marriage, in 2005 Julie was able to find the balance between motherhood and career by launching Fowler Designs and becoming part of our chamber.
Julie has been in Texas for nearly 12 years and she and her husband Ed have 3 children, Jillian, Kaitlyn and Christopher.
