On Thursday, October 11, 2018 we had the pleasure of officially welcoming Michael Holden and his team of Gage, Edder and Chris to the Royse City Chamber! These guys have only been on Main Street under a year but have already made a huge and lasting impact on Royse City! With their precise and impeccable work along with their giving hearts we are lucky to have them here! Make sure to stop by to get a cut or shave and feel as though you have walked back in time to the classic style of a true barbershop where everyone is family!
Nanette has been in banking for over 30 years. She started her career with American National Bank of Texas 20 years ago as a manager in an in-store location in Mesquite. She eventually became the Banking Center Manager for the Seagoville and Crandall locations. In 2012, she transferred to Royse City to be closer to home, which is in Trenton.
She has held numerous positions with Seagoville and Crandall’s Chambers and Lions Clubs. This will be her second term to be on the Royse City Chamber board and is looking forward to once again being active in the community.

I grew up in Rockwall and graduated from Rockwall high school in 2007. I moved to Royse City and bought my first home in 2010. I am mom to two boys Jack 10, and Hunter 5 that attend school here in Royse City. I worked in retail management for 10 years before obtaining my Real Estate license and joining the Real Estate industry. I have worked for Historymaker homes for a little over a year and am so blessed to be a part of this Christian based company. I enjoy music, singing, dancing, and spending time with my family and friends.
On September 25th we had a dual ribbon cutting and after hours event for Lawn Doctor of Rockwall Heath and Luna Burke and Associates. This was a really special event as Terri Krupp one of the owners of Lawn Doctor came to us and said they wanted to team up with a non-profit organization that is giving back to the community!! It warmed all of our hearts immensely to see our members join forces for the greater good! Lawn Doctor specializes in lawn care. They do not mow or cut any grass or plants, they specifically get your yards at your homes or business the treatment they need to look as wonderful as you want! They service a wide area in Rockwall, Collin, Hunt and Dallas Counties. It is a family owned business and are literally healthcare for your yards. Welcome to the Royse City Chamber, we are excited you are one of our partners!
On September 25th we had a dual ribbon cutting with Luna Burke and Asso and Lawn Doctor. Less than a year ago Brandi Luna and Ashlee Burke got together and wanted to create something that helps children in the RCISD who are without food on the weekends. With their gentle hearts and giving souls they created a non-profit that has turned into something bigger then they imagined. Their first huge project is “Paw Packs” that right now serves the elementary aged children of the ISD. Each Thursday their team of volunteers gather to put together breakfast, lunch and dinner for each student in the program to get through the weekend into a “pack”. They are then delivered to the schools on Fridays. They serve anywhere from 50-60 children weekly! In addition, other needs have come up such as shoes, basic necessities, and bare essentials that they provide as needed. Which is why donating gift cards and/or other monetary means helps our Royse City children is so important. If they learn from the school counselors that a student has an older sibling in the home in with the middle school or high school they send additional food home for those children as well! Their belief is that no child in Royse City shall go hungry. They have also raised money for the Royse City Police Department and the New Hope Baptist church in an emergency situation. These ladies, their board members and team of volunteers are a true blessing to our community! Welcome to the Royse City Chamber!!
On September 6th, we welcomed to Royse City The Patty Turner Group from Keller Williams! She and he team have set up another location in our community and we are very excited they are here! It was an exciting after-hours and ribbon cutting with the RCFD and a Firetruck, lots of delicious treats, popcorn machine and even an ice cream truck!! Despite the sudden thunderstorm we still had a blast!
